When running a brand new installation or upgrade of Opera II the following errors occur and the installation automatically terminates.

  • ‘Fatal error occurred during data component move – Specified File cannot be opened aswrite, error -115’
  • ‘Fatal error occurred during data component move – Specified Media cannot be found,error -132’

Solution

Please use the following steps:

The installation routine for Opera II has been written using InstallShield and the errors outlined above are InstallShield error codes. These errors occur due to file accessing/locking problems within the environment.

To rectify the issue:

  1. Ensure that there are no users within Opera II, PIM or XRL
  2. Check the attributes of the files are not read only
  3. Reboot the server to clear any open file locks
  4. Run the installation routine again
